David is an assistant professor of medicine in Translational Medicine & Human Genetics at the University of Pennsylvania. He's also the founding director of the center for Cytokine Storm Treatment & Laboratory (CSTL). He is the co-founder/president of the Castleman Disease Collaborative Network (CDCN). David is the national bestselling author of 'Chasing My Cure: A Doctor's Race to Turn Hope Into Action'. The book describes his harrowing and hopeful journey to spearhead the search for a cure for his disease.
